Somos El Son Dance Company Contract

This contract represents the complete terms and conditions between __________________ (“client”) and Somos El Son Dance Company.

1. Somos El Son Dance Company shall provide:

 ___ dancer(s)/Troupe/or Duet for a performance on ___________ 20___ at the below specified location:

_________________________________

2.   The total performance time shall be for the duration of approximately ____ minutes.  This will/will not include an instructional lesson to last __________ minutes. 

3. The performers will be expected to promptly arrive at ________ am/pm, and perform at ________ am/pm, and will leave directly after services are rendered and full payment is received.

4. The performers shall provide music in the form of a CD.

5. The client shall provide:

a) Payment in the amount of $ __________ due on the day of the performance.

b) A safe and adequate space for the performer shall be provided. This includes a floor or stage space that is free of broken glass, spilled liquids, or other hazardous objects. If the performers deem the environment unsafe for the above reasons, they may leave without rendering services. In that case, the client will still be responsible for paying the full amount listed above.

c) A sound system with CD playing capabilities shall be provided.  The sound system is an important part of the show and should be tested prior to the arrival of the performers.

6. It is important to pay the performer(s) in a timely manner once services have been rendered. For every 30 minutes that the performer(s) are made to wait for payment after the show, the client can be billed an additional $50. (ie: 1 hour of total waiting = $100). It is advisable to have the payment ready before the event starts (ie: cash is counted and in an envelope, check is written out to be made out to Israel Chavez.)  We understand that the client will be busy at the event and may not personally be available to pay the performers. If the client leaves payment with a third party (ie: wedding planner, DJ, etc), they will still be held responsible for any delays in payment.

This Agreement contains the entire agreement of the parties and there are no other promises or conditions in any other agreement whether oral or written.  This Agreement may be modified or amended in writing, if the writing is signed by the party obligated under the amendment.
